resided at 5739 Gaston, in the Eden Rock Apartments, and Mis

believed she worked at the Holiday Inn or King's Ripon it
the Adolphus Hotel as a waitress in 1960. She says in 1959
she had worked as a student dance instructor at the Dale
Dance Studio across from the Adolphus Motel in an upstairs
area. She first net JACK RUBY at a delicatessen sear the
Dale Dance Studio. She said that both of these businesses
are now no longer in existence. She said that she do.. nit
recall ever having worked for JACK RUBY or any of his sight
clubs and she never dated him or had any personal contact
with him. She advised that he may have gotten her name
and address from the dance studio or at the King's Room. She
had seen him many times at various locations around
town. --
She added that she did not know him well enough to state
what type .of a person he was, but he always treated her very
nicely.
Mrs. LEWI4 advised that she last saw RUBY
on
November 21, 1963, when he was driving a white car, mtke

unknown, and he was at the Expressway and Main Street, when
he tooted his horn at her. She said the car was then ob-
served by her at Munger and Live Oak and that RUBY again
tooted at her and drove on. She said the car was not a
station wagon and did not have a luggage rack and she could

not tell what type of car it was. She said this was the
last time she saw RUBY prior to the shooting of the President
and OSWALD. The only time after that was on television. She
said she was quite upset over the Presidential assassination,
her husband was out of town, and her father had just passed
away. She said she did not appear too upset about RUBY
shooting OSWALD, but could not understand why it was announced
that OSWALD was going in be moved from one place to another,
which would permit such a shooting.
